Phateless Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 You had the proper love bug feelings - u know the butterflies in the stomach, excited and energetic, world is wonderful feeling over someone? Mine was about 2 years ago next month Anyways I just wanna hear your experiences!! Probably almost a year ago. I'm still in the relationship now.
Star Gazer Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Last time? When my fiance called me on my lunch hour. Yeah it's odd that seeing his name on my cell phone excites me. Me too! Isn't that sweet!? Probably almost a year ago. I'm still in the relationship now. You don't have the lovey-dovies anymore?
Lauriebell82 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Probably almost a year ago. I'm still in the relationship now. Aww, that's too bad. I've been there.
Phateless Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 You don't have the lovey-dovies anymore? Aww, that's too bad. I've been there. Yeah we're trying to work through it.
apple21 Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I'm feeling butterflies right now!!! I just began a new relationship after getting out of a long-term one and I am absolutely overwhelmed with the feelings I am getting for this person. I didn't even have these feelings when I began my long-term relationship. At least not the way I have them now. WOW! I love it!
londondude Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I think that feeling is much more something people can experience in their teens, or maybe early 20s if they're late starters! For me though about 4 months ago...I fell hardcore for this friend of a friend on the 2nd date...even though we had some differences in personality she was great to talk to just about subjects, could have really meaty conversations with her. And she was pretty... Then she really backed off...think she was toying with me a bit while not over her ex...now started seeing someone else (though from what I've seen not sure if it's serious). Sort of told myself I'd never get that vulnerable that early on again...it hurt like hell! Plus not sure in hindsight she was that right for me.
Brady_to_Moss Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I have never had a girl give me this feeling...ever in my life....its so sad
LucreziaBorgia Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I've felt it many times. If it was ever returned, I didn't pick up on it. People have always been affectionate and loving - or at the very least sexual, but no one ever went head over heels like that for me, with the somewhat recent exception of one nutjob that obsessed over me for no real reason and stalked me for a while.
Soul Bear Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 About 5 days ago.... Never felt such intense chemistry before.

Just don't let feelings get in the way of logic and reason please..thats when it gets bad!
ilius Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 May I offer a story that hasn't (yet) been tainted by the pain of rejection and/or other? I've been posting just recently about this girl I met last night. Tingly all over, butterflies in the stomach, have been thinking about her literally every second since then. So far she's seemed very open to my communication by email, and she even gave me her number, but I guess we'll see if she'll accept my proposal for a date when I call her tomorrow.
ilius Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 With my XH. Divorced a year ago. It's sad to read people saying they never felt that again after the first time. I was hoping that wasn't the last and only time. I've never been married, but I was with a girl for a long, long time, lived together when we were on the same continent, and though we were in love, I've felt that happy giddy feeling again (once). ; )
SpanksTheMonkey Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 So are we talking about chemistry like sexual or love itself? I'm def in love with my current partner but honestly I'm not overly sexualy into it. But I think thats just me I'm just not a sexual person anymore its odd hes the 1st guy I can say Ive really cared for deeply but I can take it or leave it when it comes to sex.. meh go figure
Shock Me Sane Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I love the butterflies. It's my favorite part. I would be sad if I thought I couldn't get that feeling anymore. I've only ever met two people with whom the butterflies lasted more than a couple meetings. Neither of them turned out to be boyfriends, but I still adore both of them to some extent. The first I met when I was very young (14?) and the other fairly recently. Coincidentally, they share the same birthday, which I've always thought was strange.
stuckinwithyou Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 right after I wasted my money on a toy in Christmas and my DAD took my shoes off and spank the crap at of me and Oh boy after that not only I felt butterflies in my stomach but also I saw them in the air above my head like a bee hive chasing me I also felt little light headed I think this is the only time I had this kind of feeling
