Dani25 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I met a lovely guy on holiday in Greece and since coming home have not been able to stop thinking about him. i managed to find out his mobile number through someone who works with him (he gave it to them knowing it was for me) so I assume that he would like to keep in touch. I text saying how lovely it was to meet him but got no reply so a few days later I called him. He was pretty busy at work so we only spoke for a few minutes about general stuff. However he mentioned he would be visiting UK later in the year and he suggested he will ring me when he's here and we can meet up. I wish i'd had the courage to say what i really wanted to - that I really like him - but I went all shy. Should I call him again and be honest with him? as worried if I leave it he will think i'm not interested and too much time will pass. So scared of making a fool of myself and sick of driving myself insane over this!
Thaddeus Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Frankly, I feel that holiday flings should remain as that. If he's coming to the UK and would like to visit you, and you're comfortable with that, then by all means make arrangements to meet. But I wouldn't expect much more out of it than a quick fling. I wouldn't, at this point, blurt your feelings. If/when he visits and you meet, let the conversation unfold organically. But I wouldn't put expectations too high.
