Lifesaver23 Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 I recently cheated on my girlfriend of over a year. It was a huge mistake, i was drunk and I have felt horrible about it since. I am not going to site problems with the relationship or the most recent events. It was a horrible mistake that I made while extremely intoxicated. I have never cheated before on any girlfriend, however this is my first relationship to last over 3 months. Should I tell her? I have always been one to condem cheating and my girlfriend cheated on her previous boyfriend 3 or 4 times. Since the incident the relationship has thrived. I guess I realized what I was going to lose and it has started to get better. What should I do?
Jilly Posted November 9, 2003 Posted November 9, 2003 Yea, quit the drinking for a start. Was your girlfriend cheating on her previous boyfriend with you? If not, it doesn't really matter in your situation. If you have a completely open and trusting relationship with her, then you owe it to her to tell her. Let's face it, these things have a habit of coming out anyways, sooner or later. Better for her to hear it from you first hand, than later by everyone who has passed it on to the next person, with their own versions added on.
