So...I have been seeing this guy for a few months now. **Knew each other from class last year & started hanging a lot since May** We go to the movies, plays, parties, anything random & fun…we go together. He knows for a fact that I like him and he said he likes me. He opens doors, pays, makes sure I get home safe… Is this considered that we are 'dating'?

I have never dated or anything before, so that's why I’m not sure. My friends say that since we are both 21...he doesn't have to officially ask me because we are older??

EITHER WAY, dude has never kissed me yet, hasn’t held my hand (except for one time we were crossing an intersection), nothing at all!

He took me out on an amazing date a few weeks ago…& I didn’t even get a kiss at the end…he sent me a text after saying how he wished he would’ve kissed me.

SOooooooo, what is this?!

~~~
Also…he doesn’t really call me…but when we do talk on the phone it’s for a while && he doesn’t really text unless it’s to hang out, or something funny that happened. Is that how it’s supposed to be? Like 2 or 3 days can pass without a text. So does that mean he is not really interested?
Another random question... >_<
I went over to his place the other day because we were going to see a comedy show...when I got to his house he was eating dinner and offered me some…since I always say no, I fig I would say yes for once...(his parents were also at the house) Was it weird of me to say 'yes'?? My one friend thinks so, bc I guess it makes me look like I can't get my own food? Maybe he was just offering to be courteous?
Anyways, I was just hoping for some insight~ Thanks:bunny:
awwww, young love! so sweet! ;)
I think it sounds like he's definitely interested in something more, but isn't sure yet..or how you feel about it. Like when he texted you after your "date" and said he wished he would have kissed you... that's a big signal right there! He was probably hoping for a response like "I wish you would have kissed me too!". I think it's time for the two of you to take your friendship to the next level! Good Luck... and keep us posted :)
oh, and the food thing? so cute! of course it's ok.... he offered you some food, why not take it if you wanted to?
All signs point to yes, you two are dating and yes, he is interested!
The call/texting thing is perfectly normal, as is accepting an invitation for food. Just curious here, but why does your friend think that was weird? Ha, I think it's weird that s/he thinks that's weird!
All in all, sounds pretty sweet, good luck! :)
He's interested but he doesn't know how to move forward.
You're kind of dating, but he probably can't wait to kiss you and he doesn't know how to do.
When you start kissing/making out/having sex, it is "official" dating.
