jelly79 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I met this guy in london where i lived 1.5 years ago and he befriended me on facebook - we used to know each other through business contacts and he recruits for my industry. I moved to the middle east and chatted almost every day on the email and then we met 2 months ago. We get on great and when he returns to the UK he calls me most nights and texts me loads saying he cant wait to see me. He gets a job here and moved here 1.5 weeks ago where he signed a final offer. I told him he could stay with me til he sorted himself out with a flat and contract. He has stayed with me the last week. Admittedly i slept with him quite early we are very attracted to each other and i know ive probably sold myself out already but im out of a 3 year relationship which was painful in the end and wanted to have a little fun. The thing is i like him but he is 4 years younger than me and these things concern me..please give me your thoughts. 1. I invited him out with my friends at the weekend and he acted possessive and disinterested in any of my friends and asked me what was my problem when the problem was with him. we had a big fight and i just said if u really disrespect me and my friends then just leave my flat. I cant be bothered. He didnt and was crying and apologetic. cleaning my flat and being tidy etc every day offering to make dinner etc. 2. He doesnt volunteer much about his life until i ask him and is quiet and can be edgy. 3. I told him maybe its best we be friends as im not interested in shag buddies and he said he didnt want to lose me and said we get on so well. 4. He lost his wallet whilst here, has no fund back ups, hasnt even brought me out for a dinner to say thanks. When we go out I have paid for certain things. He bought a bottle of champagne when he arrived but hasnt done much more. He is having trouble getting his funds transferred over and i get the feeling that he is either really stupid, irresponsible or using people. I said he could stay in my place whilst im away this week but have you any ideas guys? he offered to pick me up when i get back from the airport and he said he owes me dinner somewhere nice but im all confused. Is he having a bad week or is he just a user?!
