luv_rocks Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 My good girlfriend Paula just got involved with a married guy, who happens to be a coworker of mine, but he doesn't know she's my gf. A few days ago I had an interesting disscussion with him. He told me that he's not having sex with his wife and he is unhappy at home. He also told me that he likes Paula nd she makes him happy. Is this "happiness" just about sex or it's the whole feeling thing? When someone says that he/she is not happy at home, it sounds to me like the marriage is in trouble it's not just the sex part. This guy is a nice guy and I know he takes care of his family and kids, he even does the whole house work, like laundym dishes, cleaning. Well I even find this strange. He never told me that his wife does those things. We have been talking about our lifes for a while now, but just recently he told me about his lve afair with my gf.
Thaddeus Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 As soon as there's a denial of sex in the married home, the rest of the relationship will go down the tubes. Everything about the marriage relationship starts in the bedroom. If the sex is regular, vigorous and fulfilling for both parties, the rest of the relationship will fall into place nicely. But if one partner is denying the other the physical intimacy that's so important in a marriage, then the rest of the relationship is in trouble.

I've been in a relationship for 4 years with no intimacy and I feel like we are roommates, not a couple.
