TracyG Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Hey all. I am new here. Looking for some advice if anyone has any. I am thinking I am pretty much at rock bottom with my marriage. We have 2 children together and living in TX. I am originally from MA and am planning a trip in 2 weeks there. I have been seriously considering staying there for good. My husband has been physically abusive in the past and I did file charges. We separated yrs ago and unfortunately I fell weak, and went back to him. He has always been abusive mentally to me and makes me feel like you know what weekly/monthly and then smooths it over again. I know in my heart that if we did not have children together or I lived closer to my family we would have divorced a long time ago. Now is my chance. My kids and I have tickets to fly back east at the end of the month. Does anyone know the law on taking children over state lines? Again, we are in TX leaving to MA. He is not a citizen of the US. He is a legal resident though if that makes any difference. Thank you so much for any input y'all can offer. I really do not know where to begin.
