According to you that is impossible...so how is it that you can accomplish the impossible?

Because I'm a woman.. and I have always said that most women CAN be faithful.. MOST men can't..

I have never cheated.

I know he'll call again.. ;)

Hehe.. yeah, probably.

And now he is probably scared that you mean business so he is not going to give you excuses anymore.

Huh?? what games?

I suspect carhill is referring to your comment about your guy friend calling again.

The old withdraw affection technique to leverage desired relationship goals.

I viewed the "games" reference differently. For me, this Thread is a perfect example of a relationship-as-spectator-sport.

Pre-Net, you would have confided with a good friend or relative, if anyone. Now, you've allowed intimate starngers to view the dynamics of this relationship almost in real time. Everyone can have a say. We're all participant-observers. The public/private split is eroding. The Heart as a public good.

This is neither good nor bad. But I will say this: Lizzie, you like people to watch. :)

Exactly.

But I wouldn't expect you to understand Ariadne. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Lizzie - I'll echo Touche and say I do admire you for not being taken advantage of, paying attention to things that don't look right, and not DELUDING yourself into fantasies about what you THINK you have instead of looking at actions, etc.

Good for you.

And since you do want a relationship - I hope you DO find one that can be everything you want it to be.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved.

That's the essence of the game, and what my instinct was way back at the beginning of the thread, but I really wanted to believe the intent was sincere. My prior post reflected that. Think of how simple that solution would have been and what clarity would have resulted from one simple action. Instead, nebulous :(

Yabutt.. sometimes that clarity is not instant.. :o

Lizzie, I feel like you have enough experience with men and also a cool head about dating/relationships, so if you feel like your instincts are right, they probably are.

You're a hot babe and this dude doesn't deserve a cool chick like you. Time to make yourself available for the one who does!

I will stop at post # 229 and tell you this R is total Booty Call....Nothing more , nothing less...

Ya think?

According to you that is impossible...so how is it that you can accomplish the impossible?

Only because according to her, only women can be faithful.

Narcissist anyone?

Thank you for that Lizzie60. Finally. ;)

Finally, what? Finally she says women can be faithful and men can't? More bullshyt. Besides what are you thanking her for? We both complimented her on the one thing we could find to compliment this woman on and what does she do? Mocks you, and ignores you.

It's fine. It shows what she's made of. It shows what she deserves.

I fight and don't get along with a few people on here but I pretty much 99% can find common ground and be friends again.

Not with this one. She's hardcore. She's cold.

What man will want anything to do with her other than sexually? Methinks, not too many.

I was thanking her for finally saying "most" instead of using blanket generalizations.

I know. I didn't expect a different reaction. ;)

You're a wise woman indeed. So sorry for underestimating you.

i'm sure he won't sleep at all tonight trying to figure out how to make Lizzie think he's actually available.

maybe he'll actually leave his house to run an errand so he can try calling you just to make you think he's willing to make more effort.

if the sex is as good as you say - THAT doesn't happen every day in a person's lifetime... so it could get interesting to see what he comes up with.

stick to your guns Lizzie... i feel for you that he didn't work out - but better to know now than to find out after your emotions are tangled up for six or eight months into this.

if you look back honestly - were there other red flags that you could have noticed early on in seeing him or was the recent few things the only indication.

Thanks and backatcha Touche. ;)

Awww, thanks, dear. Keep the faith, IG!:)

This is something I am really curious about - can someone really give out the wrong number/address of his/her own?

Posted
Sunny, no offense but you're cracking me up! I'm the one who always asks this question:

i

The only difference is that I don't ask it when the couple in question only knows each other through frucking. I mean they don't even know their last names and she doesn't even know his address and has never been to his home. For God's sakes!

So please. If you're going to try to your hand at this, at least be educated about it, ok? You talk about "flags early on" What flags early on? Like last week? come on now. I thought you were smarter than this Sunny.

The "early on" and the "recent few things" you speak of are one and the same dear.

seems she's been seeing him for six weeks or so. had to be other instances that had her antennae up; i would like to know what they may have been.

it was a question that - if answered - would give new members info that might be beneficial if they are willing to be honest about what they may be looking for in a cheating or taken boy/girlfriend/date.

i think Lizzie is a huge resource for many people that may need to open their eyes when dealing with a cheater.

Touche' - don't think i'm not noticing your mean spirited tone with me... i choose not to judge Lizzie (doesn't mean i agree, i just don't judge). i'm quite unclear why you have mistaken my kindness as a weakness... please Touche' i am not a gal that you would easily misconstrue so would i appreciate you approaching me accordingly. your blatant hit below the belt is uncalled for.

I was just earlier saying to someone on here that if my own H addressed a known and self-prophesed prostitute for pics, I'd be mortified.

OMG

Why are you talking like that about Lizzie?

She is a beautiful woman and James was complimenting her. The same way that other people compliment your pictures and say you are pretty.

What does what Lizzie do have anything to do with it, or make it "bad" on James?

Lizzie is as much woman as you are.
