Some of my friends of the opposite sex are quite hot and attractive, but somehow for some reason I have not been able to go on date with any of them. Something stops me from popping the question. Can I get some ideas?
stepka Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Learn to flirt darlin'. There really are books on how to do this, and then when you get it down, asking them out will just flow naturally. I'm friends with a man who is extremely successful with the women, and I've never known him to actually ask anyone out--it just flows. He asks them out for friends, then flirts outrageously--hey it might work for you--he is also very sweet about it--it's never gross or offensive. If they're not interested, he acts like he was just teasing them. For you, the fact that these women are friends means you're already halfway there--you know they like you--so just get more. . .playful perhaps.
analyzetheworld Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 Nonverbal communication is one of the best ways you can communicate you like someone, but not have it be awkward. Women are very good at sending and picking up on nonverbal cues (trust me). Look into a mirror at yourself, and pretend you see a girl you really want to get to know, and look at her as if you think she is the prettiest thing in the entire world and you're fascinated by her. Practice making faces like this, and then once you've got them down somewhat, begin using these faces while you're out with a woman you are attracted to. Women love to laugh, and if you can make them laugh and be flirty, you will have them smiling at you, and then you can move in close and make the faces, and just have fun with them. Biggest thing to remember is don't base your self esteem on whether or not some girl likes you back; there are tons of women out there, and they're all different, and I guarantee you that sooner or later you will find one that thinks you're the cat's meow just by being you....that's the one you want to be with.
