patcha Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 is anyone else also like me? i tend to freak out, when someone lets me know they have a crush on me. i then feel really awkward and feel kind of pressured. can't even feel easy being myself. i found out recently from someone i kind of like myself but a serious kind of like. i'd like some more time to get to know her. but knowing she has a crush on me totally freaks me out. what do i do? anyone out there like me?
lizzy_09 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Just be yourself. Try to imagine her as just one of your friends. It's all in the mind. If you think of her as a friend and not as an admirer, then I'm sure you don't have to keep up with her or anyone's expectations.
Samari Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Why would you freak out? I mean it's normal for people to show affection towards one another. Don't worry about it.
Bayern Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 You should feel more confident now. She already has a liking to you, so just get to know her better now.
paddington bear Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 When I find out that someone who I haven't noticed in the romantic sense has a crush on me, it totally changes my perception of them, suddenly they seem more attractive in my eyes. In your case..you kind of liked her, she now likes you. Where's the problem? Go ask her out!!! She's unlikely to say no, at least you know that much, which should take the pressure off. Are you afraid that you're not going to match up to her expectations or something? If she's a crush on you, she's obviously been observing you from afar and likes what she sees, and won't be disappointed. She will be disappointed if you do nothing though

Thaddeus Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 i'm really scared. As someone much smarter than I said once, "Feel the fear and do it anyway." Good luck!
rod_in_gtown Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Lucky SOB. That is pretty cool that she's told you that. What you're feeling is probably closer to butterflies rather than fear. I'm sure you giggle to yourself when you think about it don't you? Embrace it! ask her out!
