I don't like porn, reason being I don't like seeing what I cannot or do not have in a real life scenario.

Interesting. What does/did he masturbate to, then?

Fantasies of his partner, maybe?

How sad and ridiculous that you even have to ask this question.

Apparently the thought of the viewer's partner is not exciting enough anymore to people.

I haven't watched it at all for over a year, and before that it was very infrequent for the several years prior. I'm going to largely quote what I said in another thread for my reasons:

Personally, it's something that I stay away from for a couple of reasons. I find it uncomfortably addictive, in the past when I've watched it I found it somewhat difficult to stay away unless I stopped watching completely. I started wondering if it was damaging my ability to relate to a real woman. An analogy that I thought about a lot was what would happen if you ate candy and ice cream all the time to the point where real nutritious food didn't seem so appealing anymore? If I was used to instant gratification, how would I react to a woman who had needs of her own rather than being ready at the flick of a button for me? And, I definitely thought that porn had a far stronger pull on me personally than candy or ice cream. Then you read about the stories of men who end up watching it for dozens of hours a week, at work, when they're taking care of their kids, etc. It sure seems like it can be a problem for some people.

I am also pretty religious, but I don't blindly follow moral teachings unless they make sense to me.

I have two reasonably close male friends who say they don't watch either, and at least one who does. I haven't talked about it with the rest of my friends, so that's harder to say.

At least some hope in this ridiculous, fu.cked up world. I was born in the wrong century....

I can't help but think that that's someone's daughter. Most of it turns me off completely; I just can't get that idea out of my head.

You may think or believe your BF doesn't watch porn but in reality you just haven't caught him yet.

Well there a good chance that woman you might be plowing one day is a daughter or do you plan on being a monk?

I would hope, after 14 years I wasn't that blind. Mind you, if he did, I would not mind anyway, but he finds no use for it. So I know at least one man that doesn't.

Face it, if a man is in a relationship and home alone - he's watching porn. Hell if any man is home alone he's probably watching porn.

Some men don't like steak, alcohol, hot weather. What makes porn so special as to be universally attractive to all men?

I can't say I know any men that don't watch it.

the question is how many "women" watch porn. I read an article last week on CNN that something like 13 million women watch porn in the USA....pretty big stat....lol

I watch it, sometimes not for weeks, sometimes every day. However I find lately it's just not exciting me. This is very worrying.

90% of my buddies watch porn, the other 10% just lie

My xbf. I mean, he said he'll watch it when it's been several months and he's home alone. But for the most part - really doesn't watch it. And masturbation - yeah, probably once a month. Damn, I get off solo more than he does. We were having a rough patch because of the differing sex drives and he pulled out some of MY porn (yes, that's right - I have a collection) and put it in the DVD player. For some reason, I just felt dirty - like I was defiling him. LOL

My bf doesn't watch porn; he says it's unrealistic and the women are slutty, and he prefers to have fantasies in his head. He questions why he would want to watch an unknown guy banging an unknown girl who usually isn't even very attractive. I quite like some types of porn, and I've tried to persuade him to watch it with me, but it simply doesn't push his buttons. I don't think I know any other guys who don't watch it though, apart from some members of the older generation who are 50 and 60 plus.

ME ME ME ME. I'll admit it. I love porn. LOL I'm not addicted to it, but a good porn with a terrible story line can get me going. LOL Actually - interestingly enough, porn fic can get me raring even quicker because I have a great imagination. Rawr.

:( ****. It's been too long already since my last pickle. I'm in trouble.

I know a few who SAY they don't.

But they still masturbate.

The type of men that hate porn are the type that most women would get bored with. They are usually afraid of sex and have tons of hangups.

Really i know noone who don't watch it

Since the beginning of our relationship, my ex-bf said he had never watched porn in his life and would get upset at the fact that I have. For a long time I believed him, but towards the end of our relationship he finally admitted "Well everyone has at least once"

About the same number as the amount of women that don't watch romantic movies. In all honesty, no one that I can think of. I think with the explosion of the internet porn is far more readily available so more guys are going to view it. It obviously appeals to men in the same way romantic movies (i.e, "chick flicks") appeal to women.

I remember about 15 years ago (I was about 14 or 15 yrs old) I was at my grandparent's house and playing in my grandpa's room (my grandma and grandpa had separate rooms). He was around 80 yrs old at the time. I went looking under his bed for something and saw a playboy laying there. I was shocked at the time, but later on I thought to myself "I hope I'm still aroused by naked women at his age".
