hey desdog------what may be going on with this guy, is a problem, but it is part of a whole larger problem, THAT YOU ADMIT TO. You arn't having sex, you seem to be at each others throats, even the sending of flowers turned out to be a mixup. YOU HAVE TO SOLVE YOUR MARITAL PROBLEMS. There are many ways to do it, but bottom line is the 2 of you need to fix the mge. If she refuses then you know where to go from there. If she is physically seeking satisfaction, and the 2 of you are not physically together, then you know what is going on. People who are in loving satisfiable relationships and happy with each other DON'T EVEN LOOK AT MEMBERS OF THE OTHER SEX. These infidelities, spring from marital problems, mental or abuse problems, or is some cases a yearning to sow oats that may not have been sown when younger. You need to work on your marital problems, investigate the possible A. but work on your mge.

desdog, you have every reason to be concerned, in fact she's likely already cheating (emotionally & physically), I 'd say it's time for drastic measures, "shock & awe" if you will. Tell her if she doesn't come clean it's over, then go NC for as long as it takes for you to heal or until she comes out of the fog, trust your instincts bro, something is not right.

I'm not sure it actually matters if your wife is doing anything with this guy. Far more important is that she is cold and you have no sex life to speak of. That's your problem, not whether you can catch her in the act with some other guy.

 

I'd start speaking to a divorce lawyer and a marriage counsellor, depending on your preference. Sitting back and spying on your wife isn't going to improve things - if you feel the need to keep doing that, just divorce her and save yourself the waste of time.
