Parent Problem

Me and my girlfriend have gone out for a while now and I think our relationship has progressed really well. But of course we've come across problems... her parents. Her parents are really into her and making sure that she does everything possible in order to be very successful... this means signing her up for summer programs, internships, making her study on her free time, and etc. We were going to keep our relationship secret for a while, but her parents found out and disapproved. Every since than, anytime her parents sees her talking or hanging out with me, she ends up getting a small talk from her mom. Everytime a small talk occurs... usually we lose some time with each other... like she wouldnt call me that night, or if we had plans the next day she wouldnt be able to make it.

She is also a person who really much respects her parents thus if her parents told her to do something or be home by a certain time she would always make it when were on a date. Knowing that shes this type of person i didnt want to ask her to do anything that would ruin the trust her parents have in her. However because of how much her parents are sheltering her we have been reduced to so little time with each other and even those meetings we do have, are extremely short.

 

Was wondering if anyone had a temporary solution to help us get more time with each other.

I'd remember my high school days when my parents were that strict as well. Even when I was going for a night out with friends, I'd have to tag my older brother along with his friends to serve as chaperon.

 

What I'd usually do is ask permission from my parents that I was going to have a sleep over at my best friends house telling them that we have this really very difficult homework and that we can only do it at her house. Then I'd find my best friend a blind date and we'd go for a 4 some and hang-out. At times, I'd come up with some excuse that I'd be attending a birthday party and will be home late. Just some suggestions.
