if a guy friend says i love you on phone when hes had some wine is it for real???

when we talk on the phone the other night he said he had some wine.

 

in the middle of conversation he said i love you, when we were done talking instead of good bye he said i love you, he said it with alot of meaning didnt sound casual.

 

if you are a little tipsy do you say things you mean and might not say if sober. i just said call me later. i like him a lot.

 

i dont think its love love, but he has some kind of feelings for me???

 

what do you think??? can anyone help me???

Most likely it's not love love. Your guy friend just had a health dose of wine and has decided to tell you that he cares for you very much as a friend. If there happen to be other signs that he may be interested in you. Then he maybe interested in you. I definitely have a few very good guy friends that have told me they loved me after a few drinks. But they only meant it in a platonic friend kind of way.

Wait and see if he brings it up again. Otherwise, just put that away in your file cabinet and don't sweat it.

it would only mean a lot more and be relevant if he sats it when he's sober.

 

i've said a lot of things i didn't mean when i drank. one of the good reasons i no longer drink.

one time last summer he was sober and said i love ya as he was leaving my house.

 

we like each other alot, we have only been friends for 1 year, seems the last 3 months we have become closer friends. hes a great guy.
