I love my girlfriend - we've been going out for over a year and we are in love. Really a wonderful person. The one downside is that I feel that she plans things way too far in advance.

I mean everything - going for drinks with her friends, entire weekends booked with her friends... I just dont have time to make plans with my friends, or even to make time for myself to "finish" moving in with her (my stuff is in boxes and I simply haven;t had the time to unpack it!).

Its the only thing that really kills the whole relationship. Ive told her about this problem, but she just doesn;t get it. I desire one day a week without plans that involve solely her friends or family.

I dont know what to do, any thoughts?

Yeah, easy, tell her you're not spending your free day hanging out with her friends. It's really not more difficult than that. Explain to her that she needs her girl time and you need your guy time, separate.

There's no reason you should be dragged along to every tea party she and her girlfriends are having.
