jlr Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 So I've been NC since my ex Gf and I severed our joint cell phone plan in early June (which was necessary) and also held NC a full month before that. Last week she texted me about something trivial (Michael Jackson, see my other post). I don't even know why she did that. So tonight I was at a concert, and as I was walking out of the club, I saw her car parked on the street near the venue (it's near other places, bars, and such). I've been having a bad few days thinking about her, and I'm like, what the hell! Just my luck that I see her car coming out of something. So I send a text. I basically said, "I just walked past your car, I was at a show, guess you're in the area too." She didn't respond at all. Then, I get home and decide to check my email/Facebook/Myspace stuff, only to see she had just posted updates on the social network stuff about how much she's "loving life" right now. She had updated those like probably an hour before I saw her car up there. She also changed her status on both of them to "In A Relationship". Of course, I knew she was seeing a new guy, but seeing that she decided to change it from single hurt. It like made it more official or something in my head. Stupid, I guess, but it sucked to see that. It kind of sucks too because our old apartment was right around the corner from where I was tonight, so it's always weird to drive past the old place. She's back in that area again, she got another apartment in the same basic area a few months ago. So it puts thoughts in my head like "oh great, she probably had her new boyfriend over and they went up the street to the same places we went." I can't believe I even texted her. Now I'm angry for doing that. Like I want to write, I don't know why I bothered to text you, you're an *******. And also, why was it cool for you to text me about Michael Jackson, but I text you and you just ignore me. Ugh.
sugarmomma Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 NC. Any more contact and she will know that you are "caught up" Let it go and stay off her FB. That is plain self torture. She may not even be in a r.
