Maybe he's chatting with the bartender, but he's otherwise alone at the venue. So either way, you women ever approached a guy who isn't with anyone else at the same place you are?
lora22 Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 I do it fairly often if I'm single; but pretty much never to hit on a guy or "pick him up." I just like meeting people, and if a guy's alone, I might make it a point to to stand next to him to order a drink and chat with him a little to see if he's cool. Once I was soooooo sorry I did this though, and I actually haven't done it since then.
lucy9216 Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 I am usually too shy to do something like this, I think most woment are. I have a couple times ordered a drink next to a guy that is alone and smiled or said hi, but usually no I don't do that.

Chances are decent he is as nervous about initiating contact with you as you are with him, assuming that is, that neither of you are plastered.
