39388 Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 How do I know if there is enough interest for a second date? What are some signs to look for if the woman is interested or not interested in a second date? I've had a few dates (with different people), but I have never felt a spark between the two of us. Is there usually some spark on successful first dates?
dreamergrl Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I can generally tell after the first date if I'd be interested enough for a second date. I either like them or don't. I'm weird though.

dreamergrl Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 How do you tell? Do you give him any signs so he can tell? I'm much more talkative, give off body language (turn towards him more), smile a lot, laugh a lot. It's easy to tell most of the time if I'm enjoying myself. I get a little a.d.d. when I'm losing interest.... which isn't meant to be mean, but I'm not one to force myself to appear interested if I'm not.
ratingsguy Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I'm not very good at reading body language.. except of course for obvious clues. At the end of the date, if I'm interested in a second, I usually say something like, "I had a great time... I'd love to do it again." Their response to that could give you the answer you're looking for. Although some women have said "me too", only to never be heard from again... so you never know. But if the response is somewhat unclear, or if there is none, it could be a sign that there's not mutual interest. Or you could just be bold and ask for that second date right then and there if you're feeling lucky. You can't get the sale unless you ask for it.

Even though I'm not good at reading people, when someone gives enough hints I can sometimes get it. I'm not very good at reading body language.. except of course for obvious clues. I didn't have a chance to even ask on my last date, which I'm afraid is not a good sign. We had a good time, but there didn't seem to be enough of a connection. It seemed more like going out with a friend for dinner. Who knows thogh, as I seem to misread people continually.
