Hello, I'm new to this forum but from what I see, it looks very helpful.

Anyways...

There's this girl that I'm admiring at the moment. I see her about 3-4 times everyday. She is one year younger than me. Now, I wanna go talk to her but of course, the biggest fear is rejection. Now if I go up to her and make a friendly conversation I don't know how it would go. We've made eye contact a lot and she doesn't give me any cold look, which is a good sign, but I tend to look away. She's usually with her friends and I don't really know any of them except maybe one, but not enough. Also, most of my friends drool over her when she walks by too... so this might be harder than your average 'approaching a girl'. As far as I know, she doesn't have a boyfriend... but I'm not positive.

Could anyone give me some pointers or tips? Thx

Eye contact indicates interest. Look into her eyes when you talk to her. Don't stare, but definitely look.

if you want to get to know her better show interest by asking questions relating to her.

I would not approach her when she's around friends, makes things go downhill, cause she cant be focused on you and her friends at the same time, correct?

So approach her when she's alone and give the usual greeting and ask how's it going..then start a friendly convo from there.
