Thinking about asking this guy out that i know, but curious if anyone has had a long term or meaningful relationship where the girl has asked out the guy first? Just curious...

Don't know if this helps but a girlfriend of mine asked her current boyfriend out- they've been dating around 5 months.

I would totally ask a guy out if I had the courage but I don't-- since you seem to, I'd totally go for it!

To answer your question, yes. I asked him out a year and a half ago, and 2 weeks ago, he asked me to marry him.

I asked him out because I was tired of my type. Never went anywhere. This guy had the respect of several of our mutual friends. He had a reputation for being a genuinely wonderful guy.

Waving hand here...

I did.. I asked my 2nd ex out... I did the first call..

We end up head over heels in love with each other.. and spend 5 years living together.. He was / is a great great guy.

I've been with my fiance 5 years.

I asked him out.

At least half of the guys I've dated for longer than just a couple of dates, were with guys I asked out.
