MissingMyHubby Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 The date went well, picked her up, went to grocery to get a couple things so we could cook out, then drove to a natl park, we hiked 5 miles, then grilled out ate burgers, talked the whole time, had a couple beers, drove back and saw a bunch of fireworks for sale, we each bought like 35bucks worth, went back to her place, watched a couple things on youtube and drank coffee, then we drove off somewere and lit a few fireworks (her idea), and then finally dropped her off. i walked her to the door and hugged her, held for 5 seconds, then kissed her on the lips, and she said "thank you." (she has only had 2 or 3 bf's and only 6 months is the longest, and hasnt been on a date in 7 months, so i think i was prob a breath of fresh air to her if i had to guess.) she is running a race tomo and i told her i would be going for a day trip to a neighboring city and she could come with, so she said she would call me in the morning. overall the date went well, im not crazily excited but looking forward to seeing where it could go, if anywhere. im not sure if its good or bad if im not head over heels right away, but im attracted to her and i think she digged me. thoughts?
Cherry Blossom 35 Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Umm...I don't get it. Your name is missing my hubby, and you are talking about taking a girl out on a date. Are you a man or a woman? Straight or gay? No judgment here, I don't care. Just curious. But anyway, it sounds like it went well
Author MissingMyHubby Posted June 27, 2009 Author Posted June 27, 2009 dont worry this has came up before. im a straight guy in his late 20s, my only thoughts i was alluding to for advice was the fact i like her but im not sure if i like her like her just yet. does it matter so much on date 1?
Cherry Blossom 35 Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Of course not!! Date one is to figure out if you want a date two. There is no decision making here. You don't need to know if you like her. Truly liking someone or caring about them comes with time. Don't rush it, and don't let your dates rush you, either. Have FUN!!
Balthazar Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 I think the date went fine....now how you feel about her is something that will be sorted out over the next few dates. Personally, I would have liked to hear a bit more enthusiasm coming from you....but that could just be your style. However, it seems all good up to now, ENJOY! Cheers,
