This is the time to be fabulous, to flirt, have fun! I know almost everyone wants a second chance but we cannot stop our lives just moping and hoping. Remember when you were single and how much fun it is go out, dress up and date! Well, who's stopping you?

The thing you have to remember is that YOU ARE THE PRIZE! You have to be won over. You are the hottest b.i.t.c.h in the club! You are sexy and single!

Even if you are hoping for a reconciliation with the stupid ex, and they send you mixed signals that they want you back, never act like the best friend to them. Be f.u.c.k.i.n.g fierce! Smile your mysterious smile, and disappear for weeks, even months. Do not make yourself available, never!

Remember, you are the PRIZE! Never the best friend. Think of this if you have the urge to contact the ex.

I like that attitude. Keeping that spirit going and not moping around. reminds me a little of the show "Married with children". All those hot women on there that Al can't have.

Goodluck and hopefully AlBundy's neighbor Jefferson will be divorced from Marcy by now.

cheers.

I love this!!! I feel like I'm finally at a point in my "coping" where I could go out and flirt and feel okay. That's an amazing feeling. Every broken girl needs to hear this advice.

Of course I moped like everybody else and I still have moments but at the same time I've been proactive with my healing. A week after my ex dumped me I dated immediately. Heck, the day we broke up I opened an online account on a dating website! Date for the sake of dating, for practice, for distraction, but most importantly, for fun!

I've met pretty amazing people and dating really expands your horizons.

Work it ladies!

What about the lads?

Go to that off-license and get a six-pack.

Score some weed of that dodgy bollox on the corner.

Get out that steven seagal you weren't allowed to watch by your gf.

Remember you're never alone as long as you have at least one hand and a tissue.

And never forget women are emotional vampires that suck us dry and throw our twitching corpse aside looking for their next victim.

While I agree that people should go out and have fun, steering clear of relationships until you know you're ready, the prize aspect is something people need to get away from, IMO.

Be comfortable and confident in your own skin. When you're finally ready to find someone worthwhile, look to what the two of you bring to the table and ensure that they're qualities that mesh.

Breakup doesn't detract from who you are, since you're the same person as who you were, previous to the relationship. :)

So get out and have a great time! :bunny:

Being the Prize bit*ch might prevent some ladies here from doing the begging, pleading, being pathetic.

And I agree, we should be dating for fun, not for romantic love.
