whimsical_memory Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Okay, so ...I don't even know how to begin this post. My daughters spent the night at their grandparents house last night. When I spoke to my youngest daughter on the phone (last night) she asked me to look at her 'boobs' when she got home because they are real red and hurting, so I agreed. Today when she gets home, I check her out and her areola on both breasts look as though someone took a needle and just stabbed her with it, and her nipple on the left breast looks like someone tried to literally twist and scratch her nipple off. I've called my parents but of course they have no idea what happened to her, and they had no idea that she was hurting (that's the problem with aspie babies, if they don't trust you, they won't tell you diddly squat). So, I've put in a call to the doctor..but have any of you ever had/witnessed something like this?

You have probably already been warned about how your child's challenges make her a more likely target to predators. I'd ask the grandparents about any visitors they might have had and any weird people hanging around places the child might have gone/been taken around. Last ditch effort - any snappy family dog in the picture? Def take the poor thing to the doctor and see if he has seen similar too.

I did find out that my niece had apparently been riding on my daughter's back in the pool, so I don't know if maybe when the niece was riding on her back she might have grabbed her boobs to hang on? My daughter is not very forthcoming with information, mainly because this is extremely embarrassing for her.

My first instinct is to say no, because it looks extremely painful and I just cannot see her doing this to herself. I asked her if she'd been playing with her nipples and she gave me a pained 'geeze mom' look and then said no
