SpanksTheMonkey Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Hi guys well I guess the headline pretty much sums it up but! I just have a few questions about it tho. Hes a guy I'm the female hes also into guys hes told me which doesn't bother me honestly I don't judge people. But it dose make me wonder how would a relationship work with some one like that? I mean is it possible for them to only be faithful to one person/gender? Or do bi people usually have 2 partners? one of each sex? I don't mean to be rude to any one here. I honestly don't know the dynamics of how this works any advice much appreciated Thanks ....
SoulSearch_CO Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 From my understanding, yes, they can be faithful to one gender when that's their current gender of choice. My little sister was supposedly "bi" when she was like 20/21. Dated mostly guys, experimented with girls. Then she turned all gay, all the time. LOL I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I think in her instance, she just really WAS gay the whole time but she was raised differently and didn't want to admit that part of herself. I wouldn't question whether someone could actually be FAITHFUL to a person...but are they really being honest with themselves? And no - I wanted to add that I don't think it's common or standard practice for a bi person to have one partner of each gender.

I see but if they are truly attracted to both sexes then how could being completely faithful to just one be possible I'm thinking. Cause the other urges will always be there no? I know hes not 100% gay and just denying it so thats not the issue. He def goes both ways tho also he was actually saying he wants kids some day.. Hi soul how you been? Thanks for the reply
dreamergrl Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Honestly, I don't think I could handle these type of dynamics myself. I'm still ironing out my insecurity issues, I can't imagine being worried about losing my man to other girls and guys.
SoulSearch_CO Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Well - it's just like being attracted to ONE sex, really. If you love the person you're with and are committed to them - yes, you can stay faithful. I've been confused as hell. You sure you want to date? LOL

LOL Little late for the decision now I think prob should have said dating sum one who's bi. When two people hang out allot sleep over cuddle/fool around go places together thats dating isn't it? just double checking its been so long lol... But yes I'm sure not with just any one but this is a person Ive had my eye on for years so yeah hes worth it to me for now anyways. Just I didn't realize how complicated he was until recently why oh why don't I ever find the guys who like to fish or something! NNNNNo its never that easy for good old spanks! lol... sorry to hear soul hope it all works out for ya ...
Lizzie60 Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Personally I wouldn't sleep on a regular basis with a 'bi' (that I know)... I have nothing against gay people.. but I would be scared of STDs... I've had 3-some before with guys.. but they didn't 'penetrate' themselves..
Author SpanksTheMonkey Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 I see Ur point but I don't think hes actually "been with" any body yet sexually hes fooled around I guess. Oral and all but he seams to be fairly safe he even asked me if I'm clean to not be would mean Ur actually having sex LOL...
stillafool Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Everyone guy I know who said he was bi ended up being gay. I would definitely use protection (ALL THE TIME) when having sex with this guy. I hope you don't end up falling in love with him or you may get really hurt.
