Hey I like this girl A LOT and she's the only girl I'd go out with at the moment... but shes already got a boyfriend. I know her pretty well so what should I do? Should I tell her that I like her or what? I know I wouldn't go out with her now, but I would like her to know that I'm interested so that if she breaks up, there won't be someone else getting her before I do.

Yes,

Not only should you tell her, but you MUST tell her.

The race is truly won by those who are willing to take reasonable RISKS.

Fear nothing, and even if YOUR ADVANCES are rejected, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and move on.

Courage, faith, and good luck...I wish you all three!!

Full steam ahead my friend!!!

...when women could have more than 1 boyfriend...and men likewise? Is serial monogamy the ONLY man-woman relationship model still recognized?

i dont suggest telling her yet

telling her would likely not make a difference, if there's no chemistry between you two now, then telling her is pointless.

Plus it gives her the idea that if she ever loses her bf, she could use you for backup or make her bf jealous...cause she knows your easy to get if you tell her!

so yea..just take it slow and time will come , if not, you'll probably find someone else before they even breakup

Well, how would you feel if you were in a relationship with a girl, and another guy tells her he likes her and doesn't want to do anything about it now, but "just to let you know in case you guys break up", how would you feel? It would probably make you work harder at keeping the girl to show that no one could love her better than you. Well, if you tell this girl how you feel, more than likely she will tell her boyfriend, and do you really want to go there?

now im confused, some say tell her, some say dont, what to do...

Well sir,

Way I see it, you have a choice...

Don't tell her = You're constant longing and crunching over her, wanting to be in her arms, and all that crap...

OR...

Tell her, and possibly be treated like a doormat, or, as has been suggested, a "backup" in case the other dude self-destructs or something.

Hmm...what would you prefer...option A or option B?

Anyways, it's just my opinion.

Is she happy with him?

If she is truly happy, don't bother telling. It might make things worse. Just try to move on.

If she ISNT happy and he treats her badly...go for it.

Having been in this situation before - I was with one guy and agood friend slowly over time revealed he was interested - I would say to mention your feelings to her if, and ONLY if, she is having problems with her current relationship AND the other guy is not a friend of yours. If you can treat her better than her current boyfriend, make sure she can see that.

If I wasn't beeing treated poorly by guy#1 though, I wouldn't have left him for guy #2, and I would have told guy #1 about guy #2. Whatever you do, if she does show interest in you, don't let her cheat on her boyfried for the sake of her character, your character, and his feelings.

She needs to break it off and have a cooling off period so you are not treated like a rebound object as well.
