sara82 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 The last time I spoke/ saw my ex was the beginning of April. We saw eachother for 1 evening and hung out. The very next day he text me and says "I honestly don't want to be in a relationship right now, I like hanging out with you but I really just want to be friends at this point". I simply replied that I was looking for more than that, and it's probably best that we not talk anymore and that was that. The beginning of June I was bad and looked on his facebook page to discover that he was in a relationship with someone else. It felt like a bullet when I read that, but just took it as it was and figured we just weren't meant to be. Last week I got a text from him just asking how I was, and what I've been up too? then when I replied with how busy i've been he just simply said "yea. sounds busy" WTF????? He's dating someone else??? Why on earth does he care how I'm doing??? I will admit though...it did give me a emotional high knowing I was on his mind What do you all think???
EmperorR Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Ignore his small talk and move on, exes usually contact you once in awhile to offer breadcrumbs and hope to rekindle some sort of friendship. All it does I'd bring you down thinking oh they contacted me, maybe there is something still there, 99 percent of the time nope.
