Met with the ex... and met somebody else

It's been a very weird weekend. Almost surreal.

 

The ex and I had planned on sitting down and talking on Saturday, early evening, but due to prior commitments neither of us could manage time where we weren't rushed. We decided to hold off and do it on Sunday.

 

We met at a park and did the chit chat thing. We agreed that there were somethings that need to be discussed but since that was the first time we've sat down since the break up that we could talk about it another time. I wanted to do it since I needed to know how I felt about her, it if was worth just tossing in the towel or fighting for it. Personally I liked the fact her and I talked, laughed and joked like we used to. No awkward silence, no weird vibes nothing like that. I found it rather comical that she occasionally checked my facebook page to see how I was doing. That and she is kinda jealous that I'm on speaking terms with the ex before her. The only awkward part was after a couple hours we were going to do our own thing, neither of us knew how to act. It was an awkward hug. We both leaned in and backed off, then leaned in again. That was the only weird part. I think I'll probably go back to NC or LC with this one, since we've been in good communication since we started talking again. Yeah, no friend zone here.

 

Then I went out with some friends and did Karaoke. I ran into this woman I haven't seen in years. The weird thing is, this woman usually pops up during break up periods of my life. We sat down and talked a little bit. We're gonna go hang out sometime this week. She knows about the recent break up, yet didn't seem to mind.

 

I still have feelings for my ex, I thought I was over her, not yet. It is nice to know there are others out there.

Be wise in your decisions because its possible that this woman will fall in love with you ....and you will still be thinking about your ex . Then you eventually fall in love with the current girl and by that time shes over you ...
