confusedandempty Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Hey - Someone told me that when you meet your ex again after a long time, it should be fun and you would both laugh. My best friend introduced me to a girl he was working with three years ago. We dated for a while, but after few months few both realized that it was never gonna work for us in the future - so we decided to break up. It felt so good to be free and single again, but only for few weeks. After about 2 months I realized that I cared a lot more for her than I thought - but she didn't wanna get back together. Since then we haven't met very often, but still we run into each other every now and then in clubs. She is always nice and warm - and I try to be as well .. but I always feel like I did or said something stupid afterwards! Let's get back to this friend of mine. He is a manager at my favorite bar which I attend with my friends almost every weekend. I went there on Friday - and the first thing I saw ... My ex mixing a cocktail at the bar! My best friend hired my ex girlfriend as a bartender at my favorite place!!!! I wanted to leave, but she had already seen me and my friends wanted to stay there. I swallowed my pride and went with them to find a table. She acted really weird to begin with. Brought the drinks to the bar, didn't smile, didn't say "hey...how are you??". Just put the drinks down and left. She is also responsible for taking away empty glasses and cleaning tables and she did well to every table except ours. There were three of us and we had several empty glasses on our table but he didn't care to remove any of them. For two minutes I went to the toilet, and when I came back ... our table was shining ... nothing there but a relaxing candle. Obviously she used the opportunity to clean the table when I wasn't there. When we left the place, I had a short casual chat with her about what she has been up to and then gave he a kiss on the cheek and said goodbye. Since then, I've been feeling so pissed off. First because she acted so cold and distant and definitely not in the mood to talk to me. Second .. my best friends hired my ****ing ex!!! I'm so disappointed with my friend ... I'm never gonna be able to have fun in a place where my ex girlfriend is ALL THE TIME!
