This is completely off topic.

Why is it off topic? The OP asked if a bisexual can be in the ministry and I gave my own personal reasons for thinking that he or she can indeed be in the ministry. You can disagree with my reasons but you can't say I am off topic as I am simply answering the question asked in my own way. I have answered the question with a resounding "YES" and have given my supporting reasons.

We are concerned with Christian identity, and ethics.

We don't want sexuality, or political correctness in the pulpit.

Please define who you mean by "we". Are you the authorized spokesperson for some organization? Or by "we" do you just mean "I"?

FNB, I don't recall Jesus saying that sexuality was off limits and could not be discussed. As for political correctness, Jesus was sometimes politically correct and sometimes he wasn't. Right?

You are free to reject his divinity, but don't mistake where his loyalty was. He wasn't loyal to Rome, the Jewish temple priests, or Buddha. He dedicated his life to God's service, and I expect the same from a minister.

A person who needs to advertise his political beliefs, or his sexuality is obviously advertising where his loyalties are.

Yes, but I suspect you may have a narrow view of what "God's service" means because you have not sufficiently studied the teachings of Jesus.

Jesus wasn't shy to advertise his beliefs was he? That was what made him great, yes?

Go back three spaces.

You are missing the point.

He wasn't a deviant, he was dedicated to God's service.

I went back three spaces but didn't see what I missed the first time. Sorry if I'm being dense. Do you want to elaborate?

But how do you define deviancy? I don't see being bisexual as deviant but as the norm (since we are all somewhere on the spectrum between queer and straight). God (if existing) put us all on this spectrum.

You pretty much called me ignorant so I considered your comment sufficiently lame to give it the old monopoly (as in the board game) "go back three spaces" penaly rather than "go to jail".

It was more funny than offensive.

I hope this resolves your conflict.

"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything.
