smiley1979 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Do guys play hard to get? If they do, how can you tell if they ARE playing hard to get OR if they just don't like you?
moman Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Most of the time a lack of interest is perceived as playing hard to get.
motive2002 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 I don't think playing hard to get is a common male thing. I would need more specifics to try and guess as to what a specific guy is up to.

motive2002 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 What are his actions? What has he done to make you feel like he's playing hard to get?
Author smiley1979 Posted June 21, 2009 Author Posted June 21, 2009 What are his actions? What has he done to make you feel like he's playing hard to get? Well, he emailed me on an online dating site and we emailed back and forth often. Anyway, I go to his church and sometimes he talks to me and sometimes he doesn't. A group of us usually go out to eat and he usually sits across from me. Whenever I email him, he will answer but in person, we don't talk much.
Author smiley1979 Posted June 22, 2009 Author Posted June 22, 2009 Once when one of my friends was introducing a guy to the guy I like, another guy and I. The guy I like tried to repeat the guy's name but ended up saying the wrong name. Does that mean anything?
carhill Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Something to ponder....If he talks easily to others, and has female friends, it could be one of two things: 1. As mentioned, he's not sufficiently interested to pursue you or ask you out 2. He could be shy with a woman he's attracted to. Gets nervous and goes silent. I guess this doesn't help you much but I can suggest that you do what *you* want. One suggestion, when he e-mails you again (don't initiate), give him a simple reply "Call me". See where it goes.
