MWC_LifeBeginsAt40 Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 After 4 1/2 years of separation and procrastination I finally got off my butt and filed for divorce. I'm signing the papers tomorrow and it should all be final by the end of summer. Meh, it's just a piece of paper, right?

Art_Critic Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Life begins after the divorce is filed and finalized... It isn't how long it took you, it is the fact that you did it that matters... woohoo
Art_Critic Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 yay! lets have a virtual divorce party Thats one I'll have to pass on .. but I'll be the DD...
Author MWC_LifeBeginsAt40 Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 AC.. I'll provide some virgin cocktails for you in that case! WWIU I called my exH to let him know and he said he was wondering when I was going to get around to that. I also told him I'm paying for it. It has all been amicable, and I'm only asking for Divorce, nothing else. Everything has been 50/50 and will continue to be so, but we do talk about the kids expenses and try to keep them even, or a little higher on his side because his income is a bit higher. The only holdup would be if the judge says we need to be more specific with regards to the children. Oh and we have to sign the waivers on our pension plans. No issues there either.
