Trialbyfire Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Here's how I prioritize attraction: Strong attraction - he'll ask you out on the spot and is confident enough to do it.Mediocre attraction - he'll ask you for your number so he can mull it over before deciding to call or not or lacks confidence to an extent.Low attraction - he'll give you his number. He's either not terribly interested and/or lacks confidence...period.
n9688m Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Strong attraction - he'll ask you out on the spot and is confident enough to do it. Is there really any reason not to just do it this way?
Trialbyfire Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Is there really any reason not to just do it this way?I agree but fear of rejection for some people is stifling. So they play the game of "self-respect" in their heads when it's nothing but insecurity.
alphamale Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I agree but fear of rejection for some people is stifling. so what if someone rejects you? big deal. you just move on...life is full of rejection
Trialbyfire Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 so what if someone rejects you? big deal. you just move on...life is full of rejectionRejection, when you're at the stage of just asking someone out without being invested in them, to me, seems like it's no big deal. On the otherhand, I'm not a guy, so I don't know what it feels like. I do know what it feels like to be rejected by a prospective client, when I'm soliciting for business purposes (haha..not a hooker, just a consultant) and it doesn't bother me, as long as I tried my best.
