SweetyBear Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 So, my ex contacted me last night. We only talked for about 15 minutes because, of course, he was working. He wants to make plans again to meet up and talk about reconciliation. It's supposed to be either Friday or Saturday. It will have to be Friday because I have plans already on Saturday, but I didn't tell him that yet. I hope if we work out something with our schedules for Friday, he doesn't stand me up again. I've made up my mind that if he does, this is it. Yes, I broke up with him, but ever since he's been a. punishing me, b. playing mind games, or c. continuing to not prioritize me. I asked him why it's taken so long for him to call and he said if I knew what was going on in his life I wouldn't even be asking. I told him if you would have been talking to me, I would know. I have a counseling appointment on Wednesday, so I'm going to share this with her and get her input too.
drummerprince81 Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Sweetybear - you probably should have told him you cannot do Saturday...just in case he uses it as a reason to bail but I think he has been wasting your time quite a bit. Text him to say you can meet Friday. And if he can't meet you now after saying he was available he is not putting himself out...then perhaps he ain't worth the worry!!!
