sillyheart Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 All the cheaters I have ever been in a relationship with, always told me when I caught them being unfaithful and in lies, that if I go looking for it I will find it. As if it is my fault that I caught them cheating, because I had the audacity to snoop! I wouldn't have snooped in the first place if my gut instincts weren't telling me something different than what they told me. The lies just never made any sense. Has anyone else ever been told this before? I am just wondering if anyone knows why would a cheater say this?

I told her if you weren't running around with the OM and lying about it, I wouldn't have to snoop. Most of them are pizzed they got caught so they have to blame someone else.

When it happened to me, I was equally upset about the fact that my XWW was so incredibly dumb that she could take this position. I mean lying and cheating is bad enough, but demontarting this type of stupidity was downright disturbing.

They are trying to deflect attention away from what they did, and make it about your snooping. you had reason to snoop...obviously. Dont feel bad about that. They are just pissed because they got caught.

If you find out they are and they attempt to deflect it is because it's true. Why would you care what cheaters say anyways, 90 of people when cheating actively lie anyways. So what's the point, you know the truth, drop the dead weight and move on. When they try to attack you for "snooping" it's called gaslighting. Wikipedia it... Those with nothing to hide, hide NOTHING! When you lie, you will get caught. And you have to look at yourself every day in the mirror...
