crrogers Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I am in a fledgling relationship in which we see each other once/week and talk nightly. Last night we made plans to meet after he took his family from out of town to dinner. Well, at 7 pm I texted him and he said he was eating with them and offered to bring me food. I basically said thanks but no thanks. Two hours pass and he still did not text me to let me know when he was coming over. In addition, he lives 30 minutes away. Not wanting to give the impression I am going to sit and wait for him, I texted him saying we should meet another day when we have more time. He has been very predicatvle and nice up to this point, but I do not want to set a bad precedent. How would you have handled this situation?
