jonm07 Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Hey everyone, I met a girl last week and we've quickly become very close, I like her a lot and we have great chemistry. We're going to a show this weekend, she was teling me how much she wants to go to this show so I said that we should go together. I'm buying our tickets online as we speak, I didn't specifically tell her that I'm paying for the tickets. She seems pretty excited about going. I'm not certain whether or not she thinks of it as a date. Should I work this into a conversation before we go? Should I not say a word about it and just treat it as a date? I was thinking maybe I'll casually throw in "it's a date" when I call her. I'm giving her a call shortly to take care of details and whatnot. Thanks a lot!
BobSacamento Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Nah man just be cool. Saying, "Ok it's a date" is so lame. If you make a move and she's like "Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww", you've got your answer.
WhyYesThankYou Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I agree... This sounds very clearly and simply like a date. No need to label it. Labeling dates unnecessarily is all sorts of cheese-icky. Good on you for picking up on her wanting to go to the show, suggesting to her that you go together, and buying the tickets. Sounds blissfully uncomplicated. Hope it's a fun evening!
