Me and my girlfrend have just split up after five years. It was a long end and i have posted other stuff about getting back with her, because we split proper 2 weeks ago but still got alot of mixed message and we did flirt alot.

But anyway there is someone else in her life, at first she made up exusise for us splitting, saying there was no one else but now it is clear.

My problem is i always thought she was a great girl, and very very trusting, she is so diffrent with me now and has almost turn easy with people, and now things have sunk in, i keep thinking of stuff over the past 3 months, like when she poped out one afternoon and i could not get hold of her just lots of things like that.

First of all i feel like i need too ask her all tease questions, like how long was it going on for, when did it start, you no all that stuff.

And second, how do i stop my last 3 months, of bad thoughts, ruining all the great ones, can any one please help me, i am not doing very well all i want too do is get the old person back but she has gone why do they change so much.

I must add i have been though this twice before, with other girls but each one get worse, and with out sounding like a looser i no the oniy way to really get over some one is too meet someone better but she was great, and will take some getting over.

Forget it.

You've split up and it's over.

if she lied to you before, what makes you think she's going to be any more honest with you now?

Let it go. You really don't need to know. You think you do, but you really don't.

Forget it and go - as ever - No contact.

I agree with Tara... let her go. You really don't want the answers to your questions - it will only make you feel worse.

If this has happened to you before, you might want to consider counseling to examine your relationships and the role you have played in choosing women that cheat/leave you.

I'm sorry that you are hurting... 5 years is a big piece of yourself to give someone. Try to find something new to distract you from rehashing everything over and over in your mind. Maybe start a new hobby. Take up a sport. Go to the gym. Hang out with friends. Join a special interest group. There are tons of positive things that you can do for yourself to help take up the time you are now spending think of your ex.

Be happy that you weren't married and don't have children.
