Does she know how to speak Spanish? Take her out dancing. Hispanic women tend to like music & dancing a lot. Generally speaking, if she's white-washed, she'll probably like hip hop. In fact that's probably your safest bet. Reggaeton is a close second. If she's in with her culture, and if you're confident on your feet, you can try Latin clubs which usually will play a mix of reggaeton, rock en espanol, bachata, merengue, maybe cumbia and salsa. Reggaeton and rock en espanol you just dance whatever. Bachata, merengue and cumbia there are specific steps, but are still more like street dances where you just kind of fake it. Salsa is actually fairly difficult, most people that dance it have taken lessons at some point, at least that's how it is in the US. If you want to get all Mexican, go to a place that plays banda. The dance is fairly easy, and you dance close, excellent for a date. In fact pasito duranguense, a type of banda, was started by Mexican Americans right there in Chicago, then spread back to Mexico. Although even if she enjoys it, you may not. I'm sure you'll like the dancing with body on body contact part, but the music may give you a headache.

Neighbors are saying you don't know jack; industrial and electronica is all the rage south of the border. Taking her latin dancing will be much like serving chopped spanglish phrases and cracking jokes on her heritage. The fact that she is born here means nothing is certain.

I'm not Hispanic, I just really like Latin music and women. sally4sara - you're probably right. I'm in my 30's, I hang out with Hispanic women in their 30's, I know how to dance to all of the music I mentioned, in fact I won $30 dancing at a cumbia competition a few weeks ago at a Mexican club. And I meet a lot of Hispanic women at those places. Half of the women I date are Hispanic or a mix of some sort. But I usually date women my age. So I don't know what the kids in their 20's listen to. Maybe they're into Belanova type music, which I'm not a fan of.

There's a huge selection of "mexican" music ... my favorite is "conjunto rock & roll," as popularized by Doug Sahm (and the Texas Tornados) and his kid's band, the Tex-Mex Experience. And what the hell is reggaeton? I've seen that word before but am not familiar with the genre! all you gotta do is sprinkle in a "papi" somewhere in the mix, and you could be telling him to suck ur toe jam, and it wont matter. you're my new hero, WC!!! Not because the Church tells them to, but because babies and children are a generally welcome part of the culture. Gringos don't "get" it because of they buy into the abortion culture more readily. that said, you've got a good point – sex with hispanic women isn't just a casual, good-time thing, there's got to be somethign to the relationship ..
