What’s your perspective on this? I joined a social site and was approached by a very cute guy from overseas. We got to talking and found we had a lot in common. So much it’s scary. After a few weeks we were already joking that we were (shared interest) soul mates. The more we talked the more his interest seemed to grow (mine too of course). After a while I got busy with other stuff and temporarily left the site for about a month and a half. All the while, he still kept in touch with me- a lot. When I did come back I noticed that some of the female friends we had in common, just up and stopped talking to me. I’m not sure what happened?!?!? A couple of the girls that I wasn’t even friends with- that he was friends with- have stopped talking to him-COMPLETELY! again, WTH?

Flash forward a couple of months. We’re still very much in touch. He's only visited my page once this year (that I can see) although pics can still be viewed elsewhere. It was when he visited my page that he saw I had many friends, a good number of them dudes. But he hasn't been back yet. All his (guy) friends and the one girl friend have though. He still treats me with respect. But now he flirts just slightly less. But now I notice he’s become my puppy. Wherever I go on the site, he is sure to follow. If I post a comment, he makes sure to post a (joking/flirty) comment next. Is he c*ckbl*cking? And if he’s online first, and I sign in, he sometimes goes offline or just hangs out in the background. Other times, he waits til I’m there to send me messages despite the big time diff. I’m pretty sure he is single- so WTH is going on with the mixed signals?

Guys? Gals? Any thoughts? I'm so confused.

Thx!

Invite him to come and visit you. Everything else is just electrons :)

Thanks Carhill. What do you mean electrons? How would I casually bring that up? I don't want it to seem like it's out of left field.

If you're ready to hear a yes, simply say "I'd enjoy meeting you in person". A man who is genuinely interested would work it out. I recently did this with a LS'er but she wasn't ready for that (no romantic interest, just as friends). She offered; I accepted and held a flight reservation and she changed her mind. No worries. There's always another person and another time. Life is an adventure :)
