kikilu Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I am new here, I read some of the posts and I am hoping to find people who may be in a similar situation. I am a 45 yr old married woman who is seeing a 24 yr single man. I came here to see if there are other woman in this position, even if they are not married. Is there alot of us out there? And why are younger men finding us so attractive? Why are we finding them so attractive? I would just like to find someone somewhere to discuss this with.
LucreziaBorgia Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 I'm 38 - 39 this year and was pursued and eventually caught by a 24 year old slamming hot guy. Why does he find me attractive? Because unlike a lot of my younger sisters in their 20's I don't have the same hangups or insecurities, I know what I like in bed, I have far more education and experience, I don't overthink or analyze what we have, I don't need to 'talk' about what we have, I am confident in myself, and he surely knows I don't need him. He knows I choose him. There's a difference.
jerbear Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 You gals know what you want and I don't have to worry about a house wife. Those laugh lines are actually very cute. .
broknhearted Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 You gals know what you want and I don't have to worry about a house wife. Those laugh lines are actually very cute. . OMG! my MM who is 14 years younger said the same EXACT thing to me!
broknhearted Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 well, about the laugh lines and crows feet that is. i'm assuming he started the affair because of lack of sex (attention, ego thing, who knows) from his wife. isn't why they all wander? cause they are missing something at home?
2sure Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 The whole cougar thing is VERY trendy right now with guys his age and even by some women our age. Just like ...5, 10 years ago it became VERY TRENDY for women to be bisexual, or at least be seen kissing girls. Its a trend. It will pass. Participate or dont.
ladydesigner Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 The whole cougar thing is VERY trendy right now with guys his age and even by some women our age. This is exactly what is going on. My xAP was 21 (he has a long-time girlfriend) and I was 35 (married) when we had our affair. It definitely was a nice ego boost, but in the end was not worth it. When it ended he actually made me feel old by stating that things would never work because of our obvious age difference and what problems that would bring ten years from now and also because I already have 2 kids and he wants to have kids on his own...understandable, but it still ended in an unflattering way.
