mortensorchid Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 If you read my previous thread, it didn't quite go as I thought it would, as I intended it to be a humorous story and some didn't get it, but maybe I should put it a different way how things came together ... I have a part time job tutoring at a university where I am a student. I have one student who is very challenging, to say the least. I reached a point where I was spacing out with her (my partner had taken over with her). I found myself staring out into space and suddenly realized I was being looked at back. I was staring at someone across the room but not really seeing him (if you know what I mean). I made light of the situation and made a kissy face at him, he laughed. We then started making faces at each other across the room and trying not to laugh. After my (and his as he's a tutor as well) students left, he came over and introduced himself. I apologized for staring because I was just spacing out and not really staring at him. Then we went outside for a little fresh air. He asked me out. I took his number in my cell, he said "We'll talk. You've got a real cool girl vibe about you." It's been 24 hours. I shall wait to be contacted, right?

I had a guy pull the generic "we'll talk" with me, after he asked me out and we exchanged numbers. Since he's the one that made all the moves, I didn't call, but he did. Since then, he stopped saying "we'll talk" or "we'll hear from each other" and only uses "I'll call you tomorrow".
EddieN Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Haha, what a cool story. I'm sure he'll call or text sometime soon. I can't imagine why he wouldn't, unless you only have his number (you didn't mention that he took your's but I'm assuming he did).
