jlsinphx Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 My ex and I broke up almost 2 weeks ago. It started with him saying he needed time to figure things out. I kind of pushed after a few days of him needing time, because he kept calling and wanting to hang out. I didnt hang out with him and asked if he made a decision. He said no. So, I said it's simple...Do you love me? He said he didn't love me. I told him after knowing me a year, he would feel it if it was going to happen (I can't imagine this not being true). So, I told him there was no need for time. We were over. He asked if we could be friends. I told him no. I told him I couldn't be friends with him since I loved him. He said ok. But, he keeps trying to get a hold of me. He will text me for no reason, just like old times. He will call just to say hi. I told him to stop cuz I can't be just friends with him. So, he now will text and if I dont respond, he will reply with something he knows I can't ignore. So, we end of talking. Last night, I called him and told him to stop contacting me. We were talking and I was crying during our conversation. He just kept saying, stop crying, I am sorry. I said, you may be sorry, but you still dont love me. We got off the phone. Then, this morning, he texts me...good morning! What the heck is he doing and why and what am I supposed to do?
wow123 Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 He can't let go. Go NC. Let him see what life completely without you would be like. He may then realize he wants to be with you on your terms.
boogieboy Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Just keep ignoring the texts. He will have to give up after a while. If you answer it will encourage him to keep trying.
