Soul Bear Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 This was just sent to me by my model date who I havent heard from since saturday....yup she is still in touch:D ''If you had 2 lady's who truly loved, but one was offering the world but is totally straight laced, or you had the choice of the one who likes getting mellow, but equally good company, not offering to settle down tho, which would ya chose?'' I have several different answers, for this which are all purely circumstancial... BUT this is a strange question to ask someone who had recently been finished with after 5 years (me). Its also a strange question to ask someone when (she) herself has just finished something with someone else after 6 years.(divorce) It could just be a random question she decided to ask....but ya know....
JohnnyBlaze Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 It could just be a random question she decided to ask....but ya know.... Yeah, it does have that loaded question feel to it, doesn't it? As soon as I read the question, all I could picture in my mind was Robbie the Robot flailing his claws around, saying "Danger, Will Robinson! Danger!". This is one of those times where I'd just reply with some smart a$$ comment, like "it depends: which one has the cuter sister?"
Author Soul Bear Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 Yeah, it does have that loaded question feel to it, doesn't it? I thought I was just being paranoid, but it does have that feel to it, your right. Robbie the Robot LOL:lmao:
Lucky_One Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 If I were a guy, I would tell her that there was no way I could truly and deeply love two women at the same time. But I am a woman, so I think like one. I would suspect that you told her all about your XGF, and she is trying to see if you are going to pursue a serious R with her while still carrying a torch and pining for your X.
Bejita463 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 If I were a guy, I would tell her that there was no way I could truly and deeply love two women at the same time. But I am a woman, so I think like one. That is not thinking like a woman. That is thinking like a decent person, in my opinion.

Wow Lucky...that was pretty insightful...thanks She knows about my ex, and I know about her divorce, we are both on totally opposite ends of the spectrum here, male/female/dumpee/dumper.... I only as because it is a bit of a strange question....
Author Soul Bear Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 OK...this is really bugging me now.......
Lucky_One Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 So is she the one who can give you the world, or is she the pothead? If she isn't the pot smoker, then she could be trying to feel out how much weed means to you, and if it's something you will give up.
Author Soul Bear Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 So is she the one who can give you the world, or is she the pothead? Its my ex who is the pothead (not that she even knows about that part)
carhill Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 If the recitation of her question was verbatim, let's hope she isn't an English major Personally, reading between the lines, I'll take the 'straight laced' loving and affectionate person who'll 'offer me the world'. When you get to be my age, there's a lot to be said for stability
Author Soul Bear Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 LOL. No she isnt an English major, that was pretty much verbatim!! She doesnt know about smoking pot. Infact, i had the first smoke yesterday eve for the first time in weeks. It feels good to be off it, and she doesnt know yet that I smoked it/smoke it sometimes I have been sitting on this txt from her for 2 hours now... She could possibly be the one who can offer the world, as she is pretty famous, but she could also be the one who is pretty mellow and not looking for anything......Theres the catch!!lol
Lucky_One Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Then just go with the reply that you couldn't love two women like that at the same time.
Author Soul Bear Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 Thats a very good answer Lucky, as it is true. There is no way to truly, love deeply for 2 people at the same time in a romantic fashion. I still feel like it a bit of a strange question tho.... Due to emmitigating circumstances, I would have to say that a)there is no way I could feel like that about 2 women at the same time, and b) ciurcumstansionly I would chose the one who doesnt want to get settled down as I dont want a R right now....not even with my ex Lora- YAY! havent seen you in a few days!! My main thing is, is that what is she trying to get at!! I really could be nothing, but it reeks of 'feeling out'
Lyssa Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 How about you reply and see what she has to say in return?
lora22 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Lora- YAY! havent seen you in a few days!! busy/eventful weekend My main thing is, is that what is she trying to get at!! I really could be nothing, but it reeks of 'feeling out' What reason could she possibly have for asking you that question, except to try to feel you out. I'd say it's impossible to predict the answer she's looking for (you don't want to give the wrong one and have her avoid you!), so it's best to keep it short and simple, like Lucky's answer, and play your cards close to your chest
Author Soul Bear Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 You guys are so fuc*ing brilliant. What would I do without LS?! Lucky's answer it is!!
Lyssa Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 You guys are so fuc*ing brilliant. What would I do without LS?! Lucky's answer it is!! :bunny: Oooh get back to us!!
Lucky_One Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Brilliance is the eye of the beholder depending on where the beholder's seat is! You didn't think I was so smart when I kept telling you NC NC NC because you were driving your XGF insane!

You didn't think I was so smart when I kept telling you NC NC NC because you were driving your XGF insane! I agree with you on the XGF situation I was just to proud to listen to anyone else, and to proud to have my ego bruised with such a brutal answer I think your great
Lucky_One Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Wow. I think I could love you! It takes an adult to be able to apologize!
Author Soul Bear Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 Wow. I think I could love you! It takes an adult to be able to apologize! friends?! *high 5's LuckyOne* Thanks for forgiving me for being an arse
Lucky_One Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Friends. And let's face it - I was blunt and after a while, not trying to be particularly kind! Ok - off to work now. Paychecks are important.
