griffinchicken53 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 ok so i'm at this job, still kind of a noob, but everyone has told me that there are months at a time when could be working 7 days a week. i'm fortunate cuz it is a good job that pays decent and i know so many people are struggling to find a job. i haven't been on a date for years, stopped trying at one point cuz stuff was going on and it wouldn't have worked out with anyone considering the circumstances. recently i thought this girl liked me (maybe she's just too busy to really talk to me right now, but the way i see it, if she wanted to talk to me, then she'd find time to talk to me) but it still goes through my mind of a possibility. so i was on first shift 7 to 330, now on second shift 300 to 1130, and possibly might be on 3rd shift 1100pm to 730am. first shift (if working everyday) seems to offer most opportunities for a social life, then second shift, and for the most part third shift would seem to block any chances of dating, which depressed me cuz i'm fed up with being single. probably won't be first shift for awhile, what do you think second shift better than third?
