SummerLady Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 I am curious how long do people normally wait to get remarried. I hear everyone talk about not marrying your rebound and such. So let me rephrase the question. If you are not with your"rebound" how long are people waiting? I honestly don't care what others think if I know its right but was just curious what you all have done or heard???
Touche Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Rebound, shmeebound. Don't believe in it. I met my H 3 days after my I separated from my ex-H. We married 8 months later (3 weeks after the divorce went through.) Oh and we will be happily celebrating our 14 year anniversary in less than 2 weeks. I ignored those who told me this was rebound. Glad I did!
badbrit Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 I do not think there should be any rules on this at all. If a marriage is over it is over. End of, you are now back to scratch. As for marrying someone else, it is not about how much time has passed but about evaluating the situation on its own standalone merits.
