T-town Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Ok so I met this girl, she is pretty, cool, smart etc...The only problem I have is she just broke up with her bf of 5 years about 3 months ago. That worries me because even if she thinks she is ready to date, I am not sure that she is. She still speaks about him a decent amount, doesn't want to go to certain places because she is afraid she will run into him etc...Not really sure how to play this one. Basically I am wondering if it is worth trying to date this girl? Also she is pretty young, 22, and he was her first and only bf.

Then again I don't know if there is anyway to really know if someone is over someone else, and if she thinks she is ready then she will date someone else anyways. If you can tolerate it maybe give it a shot but tread very lightly. Put no preasure and expect nothing but failure. If you do that then you have a decent chance that when it doesn't work out, it fails gently, and maybe some day she will realize when she really is ready and will remember you...

Just keep hanging out with her and make sure you two are having fun. Girls love guys that know how to have fun. So do that with her! Don't think about dating and all that, you could scare her away.
