lonelyguy001 Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 There is a restaurant called bertucci's about an hour from where I live that my family and I ( meaning my parents and siblings) go to seldomly. The hostess there was absolutely stunning . There was a lot of flirtatious eye contact and smiling, posturing, playing with hair, etc, but I didn't make a move because i felt it would be inappropriate to ask her to lunch or something while there were so many people around, including her boss. I don't know exactly how to procede from here since we only own one car as a family and it is always with my mom at work. I would never get 2 hours to take a trip up there by myself to ask her on a date, so the only time I would get a chance again is if my entire family goes to bertucci's. If we do take a trip up there again for dinner, what would be the best way to ask her to lunch without getting her in trouble?
Habeas Corpse Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Don't ask her out. You don't know this girl from Adam; she could display that type of flirting behavior with everybody. You're just asking for trouble.
lora22 Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Sounds kind of like a logistics problem to me - if you can't get the car to make a 2 hour round trip (!!!!!!) to ask her out, how would you get the car to take her to lunch? But, mostly I agree with HC. If you reeeaaalllly can't resist asking her out, if she's there next time you go, on your way out give her a napkin or something that already has your number on it. But don't hold your breath for her to call.
prettybaby Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 How old are you? You could also call the restaurant and ask to talk to her (unless you didn't see her name on her shirt). But I doubt she'd be too thrilled about that approach. Or you could borrow a friend's car? Or rent a car? Or come up with a reason to invite your whole family to that restaurant and then go to the restroom and try to talk to her on the side. But then again, how exactly are you planning to date her if she says yes? The whole thing sounds bad, honestly.
