We spent all evening talking and he walked me around to look at the art. when we were leaving he said he was having a housewarming party the next weekend (a week from then). He asked if he could get ahold of me thru the mutual friends I was with and I said "yes." he then said "let me just get your number" so I gave it to him. It's monday, the party is this coming up weekend but wouldn't he have called by now?
lora22 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I'm a girl, but I wouldn't start wondering about a phone call I'm expecting in regards to a specific event until it was a day, maybe two, before the event. That's assuming I knew some details (like what day it was)...I'm just assuming from what you said that you were more waiting to hear from him about specifics, like a time?

I think he liked me because he kept playing with his hair every time I was around. I just thought he was suppose to call in 3 days or whatever but since he told me about the weekend, maybe he is waiting till it's closer.
lora22 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Yeah, that would be my assumption, although since you don't even know a day, it's a little rude to wait that long to let you know - you're a busy girl, lots going on, what if something better comes up! He shouldn't assume you're waiting on him Is it his housewarming party? Maybe it's not totally set yet, especially if he just moved in?

I suppose it's only monday. he COULD call tomorrow or wednesday and have it still be ok. It may have been a bit early to call over this past weekend for a week from then. I just hope I'm not making excuses. I'll be annoyed if he doesn't call until friday though.
OverThinker Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I would say he is waiting till closer to call since you already know it is this weekend Howerver me personally I would have called you by now but I am kind of quick to the punch, maybe thats why I chase girls away. Anyway if you really want to know whats up tell your mutual friends to have him call you cause you are making plans for the weekend and just need to know what day and time so you can make your other weekend plans, or just wait and see if he calls.
