xpaperxcutx Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 I had cancelled my date for today last night by leaving Musician guy a message on myspace. I hope he was understanding, I couldn't be upfront with him about wanting to be with someone else, and so I made up some lame excuse about seeing an aunt. Apparently he had tried calling but I guess i was asleep. Right now I'm just sitting at home watching " The Notebook" and wondering why my life isn't as romantic as the stories in a Nicholas Sparks novel. I have rice boiling on the stove and I'm making myself a chicken dinner. Yes, after the fiasco with Artist guy, lonesome me is taking a break from dating. But it's so boring sitting at home on a Saturday night and staring at my phone every 10 mins or so. Eh... maybe I should just order take-out.
Kamille Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 How about we party it up on LS. I just cancelled plans with friends. Too tired. feel like spending the evening in my pyjamas. As to life and romance: really, it just happens when you go about leading as fantastic a life as you can.

Unfortunately LS slows to a halt on a Saturday night, and drama reign on Sunday mornings. I try to lead a fantastic life. I really do. I was suppose to meet musician guy today, unfortunately the very idea of spending half my day on the ferry and walking around the city seems less appealing compared to sitting down to dinner at a fancy restaurant. I'm starting to think the guy's really cheap. I remember our first meeting involved walking soho and midtown, and while that was fun, he never once invited me to go for a drink or maybe to sit down at a restaurant for some food. He kept me out for at least 6 hours on an empty stomach.

But see, good on you for cancelling a date with someone who quite obviously doesn't treat you how you would like to be treated. Can't help but positive again: I much prefer spending the night at home then forcing myself to go out with guys I'm not interested in. But what about your girl friends? What are they up to tonight?
westernxer Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 But what about your girl friends? What are they up to tonight? Probably with their boyfriends. LOL
Author xpaperxcutx Posted May 31, 2009 Author Posted May 31, 2009 What? I can understand why you would cancel. Can't help but positive again: I much prefer spending the night at home then forcing myself to go out with guys I'm not interested in. But what about your girl friends? What are they up to tonight? There's no attraction. I remember one of the posts where someone wrote about how a guy can be act so interested when they're in a girl's presence, yet when they're out of sight, they're out of mind. That's basically me in this case. I can't get myself in the mood to actually start liking the guy, even though he's 6'1 and almost as good-looking as a professional model. And he told me alot of things about himself I didn't want to know. I don't know where most of my girlfriends are. I know one's probably out with her clique ( she hangs out with alot of Bavarian friends), one's with her bf ( who's a passive introvert), and another one just recently broke up with her long term bf two weeks ago and recently popped up at my door to talk. We all have our problems.
Author xpaperxcutx Posted May 31, 2009 Author Posted May 31, 2009 Probably with their boyfriends. LOL Lol pretty much. So, K, why did you break off your date?
Kamille Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Lol pretty much. Do you feel like going out? You could call the one who just broke up with her bf So, K, why did you break off your date? Oh it wasn't a date. It was just going out with friends. I'm just dizzy with fatigue and would like to have energy tomorow. I'm going shopping for a bike. Yippee!

Hahaha, calling this one friend to go out is as difficult as finding a job in this economy. She's more of the homebody kind of person, who prefers to sleep in all day as opposed to going out for a jog. Oh a bike. Do you like bike ridings in the morning?
Kamille Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Oh a bike. Do you like bike ridings in the morning? I don't know! I haven't had a bike in year! I live right next to a fantastic bike trail though, so I'm pretty psyched. I wanted to go shopping today but was really too tired.
dreamergrl Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Ah yes, good old sucky piece of crap Saturday night. I'm salty.

dreamergrl Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Dreamer, you didn't make plans for the weekend? Nope I voted against it so I could get my head on straight. Only to get my butt locked out of my myspace, which is driving me nuts, because I was in the middle of fixing my page and blog.
Author xpaperxcutx Posted May 31, 2009 Author Posted May 31, 2009 I sneaked a peek at the ex's myspace page. This is why I don't stay home on a Saturday night. There is just too much free time to want to look at exes myspace page, and thinking why my every attempt at establishing a decent relationship with guys fail and end miserably.

It's probably good I can't get on to my myspace. Although it's driving me nuts. And he had the nerve to ask me if I was trying to get into this this last week. I may be insecure, but not that insecure.

Then I wouldn't remember the exact link of my exes page. I hate social networking!
