sean22 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I have just hit 1 month NC and she hasnt tried to contact me since the break up i guess im just curious to why everyone else has these stories of how their ex has messaged them or something causing them to break NC, where as i havnt heard a thing from mine.. Shes going overseas in a few weeks and she had a going away party last night which she invited me to over facebook, but i didnt go cos i still had feelings for her and decided just to stay NC. Could it just be that she is just completely over me? it just hurts me to think that she hasnt had a single thought about me after the breakup...how someone can be close to you and then the next moment its like you no longer exist..

Why didnt you go? She broke NC with you and you decided to stay NC. So what is the problem??? If you loved this girl as much as you say you do, i think you would have gone. Or maybe this is yet another example of being conditioned on LS and not following your heart.... Yes, you may get hurt more, but it wont kill you...that is just my opinion, and I know it differs greatly from what a majority of people say on here. But you guys know you love me for it anyway Ive made every mistake in the book as far as trying to win back your ex goes, and Im not done yet either. In fact, im determined beyond belief, even if it takes a lifetime. Sure, i wont pass up on oportunities when they arise, but Im not shutting the door completely. Met a friend yesterday at the coffee shop i met my ex at to hand over some of her things that were here...him and his ex fiance have not spoken in 4 years since the day they split. They cut all contact as he said she broke his heart and he cut her out completely. Its true, she did. Guess what? He is still bitter as a toad in a jacoozi full of lemon juice and grated carrot.

Soul Bear Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 She wouldnt have sent it to you if she didnt want you there. I could be wrong, but thats my take. I know that when I have dumped someone in my past I avoided them like mad, i certainly wouldnt invite them to a party!!

Author sean22 Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 haha now you have me thinking if ive done the right thing or not i guess it was her going away party and because of that i should have gone, but at the same time i have to take care of myself and i think i may have just saved myself some unnessecary awkwardness who knows.. its in the past now, she leaves in about a week and a half now anyways.
